At Prichard Farms, located just an hour north of Lansing, Michigan, our hogs are raised in deep-bedded, open-air pens, fed no routine antibiotics, and treated with respect from farrow to finish.
Our pork products are available in hog shares (whole or half hog portions, sold live and delivered to the butcher for you as a free service) and by the cut, just like you would find at your local meat counter.
Bursting with flavor, our pork is the pork of yesteryear. To keep with market trends, whole and half hog prices are updated here weekly and cut pork prices are updated monthly.
Whole Hog | $1.49 + Processing
Whole hogs usually weigh between 250 and 275 pounds live and yield 50-60% of their weight in final cuts. Processing usually costs $100-$130.
Half Hog | $1.54 + Processing
Half hogs are just that, half of a whole hog. Live weight is usually between 125 and 137 pounds live and yield 50-60% of their weight in final cuts. Processing usually costs $50-65.
