We believe in Good.
Which means a lot of things, not the least of which is that we believe in doing the best we can with what we have, and that what we buy should give back to the communities in which we live — both locally and globally.
In Good Food.
And that has a little bit to do with flavor — we believe that food should be an experience, that it should make and elicit memories, that it should satiate not just the body, but also the soul — but it also has a lot to do with how it’s produced. We believe that when it comes to agriculture “efficient” and “ethical” are crossroads, and that all farms should strive to occupy space as close to their intersection as possible.
And Food for Good.
We believe conscious consumerism is the very foundation of a thriving global economy and a more prosperous world, and that social good is best done at the community level. For us, this means making sure we help our customers do good, too. Which is why we always pay forward a portion of our profits to do social good both domestically and in developing nations around the world.
